Franchise System
Do I need to pay another franchise fee to renew my contract?
No, you don't. The franchise fee of $300,000 is a one-time cost.
How much does it cost to become a franchisee?
The franchise fee costs NT$300,000.
NT$ 1,00,000 for interior decoration, plumbing and electricity and signage, depending on the region. Get a quote before construction. Reimbursement will be made on an accountable basis.
NT$ 1.2 million for money-making equipment and appliances. Reimbursement will be made on an accountable basis. (e.g., the addition of air conditioners, increasing the capacity of ice makers).
NT$ 2.5 million in total.
Are there any restrictions on becoming a DaYungs' franchisee?
In addition to having a positive, enthusiastic, friendly, and customer-serving heart, the following restrictions apply:
1. Owns a store or has obtained a lease for more than three years and the area must be at least 49.587 square meters.
2. Must be aged at least 25 years old and under 45 years old and must have a high school (vocational school) diploma or a post-secondary degree.
3. Full-time management is required. Must be healthy and has a good credit history. No eating betel nut.
Is there any restriction on the area and location selection for becoming a franchisee?
Changhua County has reached capacity and is not accepting any new franchises, while other counties and cities are.
It is advised that the store be situated close to an area with lots of rival businesses and food vendors.

Preliminary Examination and Assessment
What does the preliminary examination involve?
Our preliminary examination is performed through a two-part in-store experience:
1. How well you are able to adjust to DaYungs' work style and intensity and whether or not it is right for you, based on your own experiences in the store.
2. While you are working at the store, we observe you and determine whether or not you are qualified for the position.
Stores for experience: Yonghe Lehua Store, Jingxiu Store, Tainan Dongning Store.
Due to the deployment of training staff at the stores, the above planned locations may change, so the actual arrangements of the store locations will take precedence.
Training and Preparation
Do I have to go to the headquarters to receive training?
We currently provide three stores for you to choose from, one each in the North, Central and South.
Stores for experience: Yonghe Lehua Store, Jingxiu Store, Tainan Dongning Store
Training stores: Yonghe Lehua Store, Jingxiu Store, Tainan Qingnian Store
The above planned locations may be changed due to the deployment of the training staff in the stores, so the actual arrangements of the store locations will prevail.
Officially open for business
How can competition between franchises be avoided?
Depending on the business district, a range of 300–500 meters will be promised. The contract will contain details on this.
Can I organize my own campaigns?
We coordinate the campaigns across all of our locations. Applications are required if a single store plans to run a campaign independently.
